It is says in Tehillim( Psalms)-" Olam Chesed Yibaneh"(the world will be built on kindness)
"will be built" because the world needs constant kindness to sustain it and G-d has given us an important part to play
One part in my opinion is when we understand that we are not here to correct others but to help them , there is a world of difference between the two as some of us think that when we are correcting others we are helping them
